The University of Phoenix Selects LearningMate’s FROST LCMS for their Next-Generation Digital Content Infrastructure

New York, NY — LearningMate, a leading education technology company, today announced that the University of Phoenix (UOPX), a higher education institution for working adults, has selected LearningMate’s FROST Learning Content Management System for centrally managing their digital content, online courses, assignments and learning outcomes.

Designed to enable the free flow of content, data, and learning to support personalized, adaptive, modular and competency-based learning models, FROST delivers a seamless way to manage and align learning outcomes, rubrics, online courses, digital learning resources, while providing the ability to search and discover digital content or learning objects before publishing to multiple LMSs and other delivery channels. The solution supports enhanced learning experiences and multiple learning modalities, like traditional online, competency-based education, microlearning, among others.

“University of Phoenix needed a solution to efficiently share our digital content across multiple learning modalities and platforms to support the needs of our students,” says John Woods, provost, University of Phoenix. “The FROST suite provides us an opportunity to continuously offer our students flexible content.”

“As the education industry continues to shift to digital, FROST is helping universities open up new possibilities by enabling their content and data to flow freely throughout the entire higher education ecosystem.
