Industry Veteran Victoria Pylvainen to Lead LearningMate’s K-12 Product Solutions Division

New York, NY—LearningMate Solutions, a leading provider of consulting and specialty content and technology services for the K-12, Higher Ed, Professional and Corporate Learning communities, has announced the appointment of Victoria Pylvainen as Vice President of its K-12 Product Solutions division.

With over 15 years experience guiding curriculum development, services design, and delivery models for online and blended learning experiences, Victoria provides extensive knowledge in designing digital curriculum products, professional development tools, and solutions for school operations.

“By combining learning science, instructional design, UX and data, Victoria brings expertise and capabilities that enable LearningMate to deliver highly personalized and adaptive teaching and learning experiences.” says Abhijeet Sethi, Senior Vice President of Global Sales, LearningMate.

Victoria specializes in moving outside of a one-size-fits-all learning approach, instead building dynamic learning solutions that combine learning science, user experience, and data models with cognitive science to monitor student behavior and deliver optimal academic settings and content performance. This skill set will contribute to LearningMate’s ability to incorporate next-generation solutions such as AI, AR, and VR into learning experiences that are tangible and meaningful for virtual, blended, and traditional schools and their learners.

Victoria will work closely with LearningMate’s clients to deliver comprehensive solutions that unite content, technology, and user experience. “Our clients excel at building great content or curriculum. Where they are challenged, at times, is ensuring that content and data properly flow into an end-to-end learning experience that supports the whole student as well as end users like teachers, administrators, and parents,” says Sethi. “By focusing on continuous improvement in design, user experience, and leveraging best-in-class tools and technologies, Victoria and her team are positioned to continuously refine our processes and teaching and learning products to deliver solutions that uniquely support all learners on their path to success.”

Victoria is a veteran educator and executive leader in education. She will serve a dual role in guiding both operations and business development at LearningMate. Her previous roles include leading start-ups and established organizations looking to transform their products and operations. She has led curriculum development, implementation services, and support services design and delivery teams supporting B2C and B2B clients domestically and internationally.
