Join us to honor National Nurses Month with a panel of thought leaders from the National Institutes of Health, Elsevier, and National Geographic Society. LearningMate hosts Nachiket Paratkar, Melanie Moore, and Jackie Ricords will celebrate nurses for their unwavering commitment, courage, and resilience in providing care to our communities, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and discuss open educational resources and online course development best practices for nurses and medical courses.
As online nursing education programs continue to increase to meet the current demands of the growing market, nursing faculty are challenged to develop and deliver courses based on best practice principles. Our discussion will cover industry best practices for nursing and medical online course design, as well as high-quality open educational resources for educational use from articles, interactives, and videos to a photography collection from a full-time nurse on the front lines of the pandemic.
The panel discussion will include time for questions and discussion. All participants will receive a list of the OER materials discussed.
