One year ago, the WHO declared the spread of COVID-19 a worldwide pandemic. Reacting to the virus, colleges and universities scrambled to online learning. A year later, institutions are making plans for Fall 2021, and a sense of normalcy seems to be in view.
Join LearningMate and our panel of thought leaders from the University of California – Irvine, Northcentral University, and Arizona State University as we discuss the newly released Jisc report, “Technology-enabled Teaching and Learning at Scale,” and the LearningMate Transform eBook, “10 Lessons Learned from the Sudden Shift to Online Learning: How Colleges and Universities Can Create Scalable, Sustainable Change for the Modern Student.”
This panel webinar will allow you to reflect on your teaching experiences, evaluate your approaches, and consider how your programs, courses, and resources impact student learning while exploring the changing nature of teaching, learning, and libraries.
Key themes will include implementing institution-wide library and information literacy instruction into your programs, incorporating digital tools and research help into assignments, and opportunities for collaboration for quality teaching and learning resources, delivery, and support. In addition, case studies and examples from colleges and universities will be shared.
The panel discussion will include time for questions and discussion. All participants will receive a list of the OER materials discussed.
